Pretty-in-Pink Kitchens

Perhaps it’s the little girl in me who still wishes she obtained that Barbie Dream House she wanted for Christmas, but while surfing through the wonderful kitchen photos on Houzz last week, I was intrigued with the concept of a pink kitchen. In all honesty, pink kitchens — especially kitchens that are pink that are hot — aren’t a simple sell. However, they sure are a lot of fun.

So take a few minutes and enjoy this collection of candy-colored kitchens. It may only you inspire one to think pink.

Mega Builders

Slick white and hot pink create a bright modern space that is bold and sassy. Not for the faint of heart, this kitchen certainly makes a statement about personal style.

For a further element of fun, try matching pink cabinetry with background in a unique motif like this multi-colored circle pattern.

Hot pink lacquer cabinets aren’t overly sweet when paired with white.

Original Vision Limited

For a very retro-chic look, try paring hot pink with white and black. The color combo and checkerboard flooring scream 1950s diner.

This kitchen employs hot pink as an accent color, toning the boldness of the color while still retaining the fun.

For your not-so-daring, try paring the palest of pink background with white cabinetry. Pink accessories continue the theme in a subtle manner.

Or try adding a ballet-pink backsplash to a conventional white kitchen.

If you enjoy the notion of pink, but aren’t daring enough to do an entire wall of cabinetry, then try adding just a pop of pink on a few cabinets.
